Note: the event will have speakers and topics in the afternoon related to the topic above. In addition, they are keen to receive presentation proposals for the morning in the areas of:

1) Case studies around Information Security Management Systems/ISO27001, and certification experiences
2) Web 2.0 security issues.

The Security Practitioners Conferences typically address a range of relevant security topics, and in addition they feature one or more focus sessions providing a deeper discussion around one critical topic. Presentation proposals being solicited include, but are not limited to:

• Security Management, Metrics and Return on Security Investment • De-perimeterization • Information or Data-Centric Security • Security Standards • IT Security Professional Development

To submit a presentation proposal, please go to:

The online proposal form requires a title, a short abstract (up to 500 words with sufficient detail to describe the presentation), key takeaways/benefits for the audience, and your short bio. Marketing and product pitches are prohibited in presentations; exhibit space is available for that purpose. Submissions not meeting these guidelines risk rejection without consideration of their merits.

Registration fees will be waived for Plenary Speakers. For Track Speakers, the fee will be waived on the day of the speaker presentation but a registration fee applies for other days at the conference.
